There is an excellent network of accessible pathways linking viewing areas that look across the lakes and wetlands. Children can explore the wild spaces, identifying plants and animals and generally just enjoy being outside (there is a café and park too).
The nature reserve is a short car ride away or is accessible by footpath if little one is in a carrier/pushchair.
We are lucky to be really close to Down at the Farm just a 6 minute drive from the setting.
We plan to spend lots of time outside, so our annual pass lets us frequent the farm to enjoy the animals, parks, tractor rides and much more.
Just a short walk from Little Bears there is a lovely orchard. A relaxing place to enjoy being outside, have a picnic and just be together.
We will also enjoy our local community with walks/outings to the village hall playgroup, playpark and church.
