I am a mum of 2 (10 years, 2 years ). I have nannied for many families across the North East since 2016. I am currently providing services for nannying, childminding (Wednesday to Friday, babysitting and event nannying (pop up creche). 

Little Bears Durham consists of myself and assistant when childminding and small number of nannies I work closely with for event bookings. I have public liability insurance that extends to other nannies I work with for booked events. 

 I aim to create a safe and engaging environment where children can thrive. With a commitment to open communication , I collaborate with parents to provide the best possible care. I follow the early years foundation stage when childminding, I can also extend this to young children I nanny should you require.

Each role I’ve had has been different. Some of the tasks I have done as a nanny include:

Getting children ready for school.

Making breakfasts

Making packed lunches 

Walking or driving children to school 

Staying home with sick children 

Collecting from school 

Homework help 

Taking children to after school activities 

Planning outings/educational activities 

Household tasks, such as:

Making meals 

Food shopping 

Changing children’s bedding 

Loading/Unloading dish washer

Purchasing school uniform  

Organising/tidying playroom/bedrooms 

Baby related duties:

Giving 1-1 care to meet the child‘s physical, emotional and social needs 

Prepping botties

Feeding(identifying Feeding cues)

Sterilising bottles/dummies 

Weaning advice 

Contributes to a safe, caring & nurturing environment 

Bathing baby 

Household help
